This is a Phase 1 compatible recipe using the Ideal Protein Mushroom Soup mix and adding 2 cups of vegetables to kick it up a notch.
It warms my belly and feels like yummy comfort food.
Ideal Protein Mushroom Soup Recipe
- Ideal Protein Mushroom Soup mix
- 2 stalks chopped celery
- Sliced baby portabella mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- Chopped Green Onions
- Black pepper
- Sea Salt
- Olive oil
I make my recipes to taste so they don't always come out the same. In this case, chop celery and add to measuring cup. Slice mushrooms until it fills up the rest of the measuring cup to make 2 cups of vegetables.
Sautee the celery, mushrooms, and garlic in olive oil on a medium heat until celery is tender. Mix Ideal Protein Mushroom Soup mix according to package and pour into sauteed vegetables. Add sage, black pepper, and sea salt to taste. Continue heating slowly until the soup is hot.
Pour into your soup bowl and sprinkle with green onions.
