Well, I haven't exactly been following the raw food and green smoothie diet this week. With all of the traveling and visiting family I ate cooked foods and didn't always have my green smoothies. Part of the reason I didn't always have green smoothies is because I didn't have my Vita-Mix blender.

I haven't felt good either since eating cooked foods and I really mix the green smoothies. I can feel cravings taking over my body again. I'll go from wanting something salty to something sweet. It's not a good feeling.

When I ate completely raw and especially having the green smoothies, I noticed my appetite was controlled, my cravings were reduced, and I felt much better. I've felt a little sluggish and I can tell my body misses a more pure form of eating. I think our bodies know what's best for us by the reaction we get from it when we eat foods that it doesn't need.

I was a little nervous to hop on the scale this week and sure enough, I did gain weight. It's okay though. This is a process of learning for myself and listening to my body.

Starting weight:  227 lbs and 47% body fat
Week 1 – Lost 10 lbs and 2% body fat
Week 2 – Lost 1 lb and 1 % body fat
Week 3- Lost 4 lbs and 0% body fat
Week 4 – No data while traveling and without a scale
Week 5 – No data while traveling and without a scale
Week 6 – Lost 4 lbs and 1% body fat
Week 7 – Gained 5 lbs and 1% body fat
Current weight:  213 and 44% body fat
Total Weight Loss:  14 lbs and 3% body fat
