Sweetheart – This last week you hit the wall. You are obsessing about the scale – weighing yourself every day and getting yourself all worked up when you don't see a weight loss. I get it – you were working towards meeting your mini goal of losing weight to below 200 lbs.
I want you to remember that this a journey. You'll eventually get there, but obsessing about the scale will only stress you out and stress your adrenal glands. This will only hinder your bodies ability to lose weight.
Keep your focus on the goal and what you need to do on a daily basis to keep you moving forward.
Instead of weighing morning and night – try to weigh every other day instead until you get to the point where you are only weighing once a week.
I know it's tempting to see if you lost any weight through out the week. It's exciting to see the progress.
Think about how more exciting it will be when you see the scale dip down every Saturday at your weekly weigh-in without obsessing daily about your weight.
It's too much for your emotional well being to weigh on the scale daily – especially if it's not moving as fast as you would like.
Your inner chubby chick starts to tell you that you can't do this and it can be a downward spiral if you listen to her.
Keep up the great work.
You're doing a wonderful job of staying focused and losing weight each week.
I want to see you push through this emotional barrier – take the first step and put the scale away in a closet if you have to.
