Here I am again writing about how I haven't lost much weight again this week. Really gets frustrating!
Only lost .2 lbs this week.
Makes me want to jump of this band wagon and move on to P90X which will definitely help me get off those last lbs. 30 more lbs left to lose.
I know – I said I was going to finish with Ideal Protein until I got to 140 lbs, my goal weight. I'm going to give this another month and if I'm still not losing at least 1 lb per week, I'm going to go against my plan.
I'm a little “up in the air” on not finishing what I said I was going to do by completing my goal on Ideal Protein – but if it's not continuing to work to get those last pounds off, then I need to adjust.
My hair is still falling out like crazy. What's left is so fine – and I already have baby fine hair – with some definite areas where you can see my scalp.
Thank God for wigs!!! I have 3 now and I may continue to wear these bad boys once I get my hair back.
It's such a hard decision, but which ever way I go, it's towards my goal and getting in the best shape and health that I can.
There's nothing wrong with P90X nor the eating program – in fact my hair will probably love the extra fat – just that I wanted to get to goal before I started it.
So, if I do decide to switch to gears and move on over to P90X, I'll have to start the 4 week phase off of Ideal Protein so my pancreas can adjust to increased carbs and glucose.
I'm excited about working out again. Can't believe I actually said that, but now that my body is thinner and joints are moving better I love exercising and the way it feels.
I love the way I feel when I exercise and the endorphins it creates. Makes me happy happy!
Would love to hear every bodies thoughts on this.
I also love the way I feel in clothes now. It's nice to go into a “normal” clothing store and be able to try on clothes and it fits. I'm by no means thin – YET – but feel and look healthy.
Oh, I recently discovered evening primrose oil and it helps with the elasticity of your skin. I wish I had been using this all along. I've started using it now and hopefully with this and exercise my skin will bounce back.
I'm thinking I'll need some surgery next year when I've met my goal and exercised for at least 9 months. I'd like to see how far I can tone my body and skin before considering surgery.
Wish I had known in my 20s what I would be dealing with in my 40s with loose skin after losing weight. It's not pretty. Oh well. It can be fixed right?
So if you're in your 20s and reading this – lose the weight now! Trust me – you don't want to be doing this in your late 30s or 40s due to skin not having enough elasticity to bounce back. Also because you want to live more years of your life healthy, fit and happy. Do it now whatever age you are!!!
I can't go back and change the past, but I can change now and that's what I'm doing.
Here's my weight loss stats.
