Well I didn't make my goal this week of being under 170 lbs, but I still lost weight – albeit only .4 lbs, but hey – it's moving in the right direction!

I'm headed out for a bike ride today for a couple of hours and I'm finally able to fit in my bicycling shirt without my rolls spilling over. 

I also got P90X in the mail this last week. I'm so pumped to start it. I want to start it right now and am getting impatient to exercise more. My goal is to drop to 140 lbs before I start P90X, but then I think, well I could phase off of IP and go ahead and start the lean program of P90X. I'll definitely still lose weight!

It's official – I'm starting back to school again. Since starting my weight loss journey and blogging about it online I've had the absolute privilege of meeting and talking to so many others who share in the same struggle, share their story with me, and seek guidance from me based on my experience.

I call it my “happy accident” into the world of coaching. I'm deeply passionate about it, love helping people, and enjoy the connections I've developed with so many of you.

So I start school in October at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating to become a Certified Eating Psychology Coach. I'm super excited about this next phase in my journey and can't wait to share what I'm learning.

It's a holistic based method of coaching that focuses on the mind body nutrition connection: Mind Body Nutrition is an exciting field that explores how thoughts, feelings and beliefs impact nutritional metabolism and health. It focuses on the fascinating connections between brain, body, digestion, and behavior. It also brings to light how the social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of life can literally and scientifically influence how we digest and assimilate a meal, and how we calorie-burn.   • Arm – 5.00 in EACH arm!
  • Chest – 9.50 inches
  • Waist – 11.25 inches
  • Stomach – 12.5 inches
  • Hips – 13 inches
  • Thigh – 9.75 inches in EACH thigh!!!  Wha??  Crazy!
  • Calves – 4.00 inches in EACH calf

  • Weight Loss for the week:  -.40 lbs
  • Inches Lost for the week:  -1.5 inches
  • Total Weight Loss in 39 weeks:  -86.2 lbs
  • Total Inches Lost in 39 weeks:  -85.25 inches

More interesting weight loss weigh-in stat:

  • Dropped from 52.9% body fat to 36.3%
  • Fat mass dropped from 136 lbs of fat to 62 lbs of fat!  INCREDIBLE!!!!
  • My metabolic age has dropped from 56 to 49 (I'm only 42 as of today).
  • BMI has dropped from 45.6 to 30.3
