Today's fitness journal topic:  How losing weight helped me hike a medium difficulty trail easily.

This last Saturday I went hiking at Wallace Falls in the Snohomish, Washington area.  Such a blast!

Six months ago I never would have done this hike which is 3 miles round trip and considered “medium” difficulty.  I was surprised how easy it was for me.  Of course losing 73 lbs made it very easy!

My FitBit showed I climbed 86 floors!!!!  Check out these results below:

As I lose more weight I can't wait to see how easier things will get, like more hiking, cycling, and running.  I feel so good right now.  My weight loss motivation comes from being so focused on the result and getting results that I stay even more focused and gain more motivation.

There's a spring in my step and I'm walking faster just on an everyday walk around the block or to and from the parking lot to work.  Just incredible the difference when you lose weight and take all that pressure off of your joints.
