Sunshine in Seattle!  I literally woke up to beautiful sunshine peaking through my curtains in the bedroom.  It's days like this that you drop any plans you had to go out and enjoy the sun – to take advantage of it before the rain comes back.

Lily girl and I set out to take a walk through the Marymoor Dog Park in Redmond, WA – about 30 minutes from house. (more…)

Yesterday I mentioned that I was tired when I got home from work to workout, but my inner skinny chick shot my inner chubby chick down and we worked out!  In that same post, I mentioned that maybe I should start working out in the morning instead because I've been so tired when coming home from work.

I'm just being honest here.  I didn't want to work out again.  I was so tired from work.  Maybe I should try working out in the morning instead.  My energy seems to be zapped by the time I get home.

My inner skinny chick took charge, smacked my inner chubby chick around and we fought through the urge to lay on the couch.

Daily Fitness Journal 03/18/13 – Yoga for Weight Loss

I'm not gonna lie – I was so tired today and I didn't want to come home and workout.  It was the last thing on my mind that I wanted to do.  I didn't really want to cook anything either – just wanted to veg and sleep.

However, if I just vegged than I would be giving in to my inner chubby chick and falling back into old habits.  So what did I do?

With all the strength I had, I called out for my inner skinny chick to come forth and kick butt.   (more…)
